BTW I really like those Peanuts pins!!
3 weeks until I'm at WDW and can buy new pins *twitches*
So this has been my most-wanted nametag for the past 2 years. It's a nametag that was given to VIP's and special guests when they were invited to special functions at Disneyland. Things like press conferences, or banquets at Club 33. I've dreamed of this one, drooled over it, hunted high and low, and cursed the day I ever started this hobby. Well, today I finally found someone willing to sell this tag to me. I don't care that the price was high. So what? This nametag is quite rare, I have only seen four others in all my time doing this. So it's a welcome addition to my collection. And now we are so happy, we do the Dance of Joy!
Well, today was a good day in the park.... made some excellent trades.
Had my eye on this one for awhile. I love that they are just metal and look absolutely fantastic in person.
Then, I got the last two pins I needed to finish my set on this series. Now the fun part of getting to frame them!! This should be fun, and I'll post pictures when they're done.
Got this awesome LE100 from Disney Auctions to fill in for my Smee Collection.
A few more Smee and another Haunted Mansion pin.
I'm getting pretty close to finishing up my Maleficent collection... only a few more to go!
And lastly a couple more rack pins and such to round it out nicely.
Not a bad day for trading in the parks I'll say!!
I don't mean to post repeat info, but for anyone interested there are about a dozen or so Disney Parks pins on sale (some HM pins as little as $3.99) at disneystore.com
Disney Pins | Pins & Lanyards | Disney Store
If you only want to buy "park" pins, you can purchase them via deliverEARS (DL/WDW merchadise), the disney store online, or find them at Character Warehouse stores.
(Asset Management and Sales - retail store listings with blowout sales)
Disneypins.com and other "unofficial" sites like dizpins and pinpics help to ID pins, find sku numbers, editions, etc. I don't buy pins from eBay, but I know many on here have had very good experiences with sellers. And I'm sure you'll get more advice from MCers to feed your pin addiction.
Another for me. This has 2 spinners so tyou can countdown from as many as 39 days to Halloween.
I made a trade the other day, and I got this pin.
I really really really really want that Tinkerbell countdown pin! Really. REALLY.
I picked up some pins yesterday. I don't usually post here but maybe I'll take a few photos and post them.
You sent me there and I found the Tiki pin set.
Disney Tiki Pin Set -- 6-Pc. | Disney Store
I want that soooooooo much. I adore Tiki stuff. But holy cow, what's with the prices? I know pin sets have always been expensive, but $150 for 6 pins? Ouch!!! Looks like I'll be letting these go.
I also really wanted the Stitch autumn set, I love Stitch and I love autumn. And the pirate series, I collect pirate pins. But I will hopefully catch a few of them down the road on eBay, can't do it right now.
Do any of you buy and re-sell?
