    Sesmeda Pins...

Apologies if I spelled that wrong!!

Ok... I know these pins are generally frowned upon and most likely I can't trade them w/a CM... So what do I do with them? I have a few of those! I like them but I don't really want to keep them.
    Help?!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I have gotten a few of those as well, but I have always been able to trade them to another cast member without any problems. Hope that helps.

If they have Disney stamped on the back of them, then they are official Disney Pins, and they have to trade with you. At least that is how I understand the rules.

Yep - they do have to trade them. You might get a few that scowl at you, but oh well. I have been finding that most cm's will keep one on their lanyard so they don't have to trade them.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

Sedesma Pins are made in Spain. They are Disney stamped and CM's must trade for them.

A list of Sedesmas are here

NNL, if you have Sedesmas you don't want, trade them with a CM. That is what I have done.

It is official policy that the Sedesma pins are tradeable. For a short time they were not, but since they do have the Disney copyright stamp on the back, and WDW was accepting them- Disneyland really didn't have a choice. So trade away!

    Re: Sesmeda Pins...

Sedesmas are really bad, cheap imitation pins. They shouldn't be allowed to trade with. But the only *good* thing about them is there are many characters in sedesma form that aren't made anywhere else. I hate seeing them on lanyards and CM's hate receiving them. If you have any don't pass them off, throw them away.

Wolfette used to get sucked in to these kind of pins, but I trained her well and they have all been traded back. We watch for these on a constant basis!

Now i know! These were all from eBay, mixed in w/others... now I know that too!!

I did trade a CM for a Peter/Wendy one - i don't care that it's a cheaper knock off, I love it anyway! But the rest aren't of what I collect!

As long as YOU like the pin, then it's a good trade!

    Re: Sesmeda Pins...

You can trade them w/CMs, though they might not like them. If they say Disney on the back, they have to take them.
BTW, since I started this post I've traded all my sedesma pins (except one and the few I kept) and no CM gave me grief. But I still felt bad and had an urge to run away each time I trade. But if I traded for something of "value" (like a CM hidden mickey pin) then I used a regular pin.
