Special Nurses Day Pins at the DLR?

My wife Kathleen has asked me to be on the lookout for special nurses day/nurses week pins for Disneyland that might become available prior to the event itself in early May.

Does anyone here know about these? would they be available at the Disney pins website? She already has a Minnie Mouse nursing pin. This would be special for, as I said, Nurses Day/Nurses week.

By the way, in case you don't know my wife is a nurse at a local very busy emergency room. She wears a Disneyland lanyard with many Mickey, Donald and Goofy pins...not only because she likes them, but it really does help the children she deals with when they come to a scary place.

Again, any help is appreciated.

I went and looked at the pins via disneypins.com, input nurses day and found a bunch from previous years... and this little gem for this year - release day is 4/20, edition size is 1000 and the price is 10.95

Is it me or is it weird that there is a Dr and a Nurse?

Looks to me like Daisy is the nurse there...although I don't know of any nurses that still wear those white caps.

I also saw the previous editions on disneypins.com.

We're not allowed to wear the caps anymore, a supervisor of mine was asked to stop wearing hers about 3 years ago. Since you can't really clean them....

My wife hasn't worn one for several years...no white uniforms either for a long time...she doesn't miss any of the above, that's for sure!

All my scrubs are bright colorful Disney, and I don't work with children! I do have a different Disney themed medical related pin on daily. (I think I have every fantasy Breast Cancer pin made). No Nurses Day Pins, unfortunately, as I live no where near a park.

i was able to pick up the Nurse Minnie one off a cast lanyard this last trip (yay!) and i wear it on my name badge at work every night

here's hoping i'll still be able to get one of these during our first weekend of May trip

YOu might also want to keep an eye on disneyshopping.com. They post new pins there just after midnight, MOnday morning. They usually have some sort of pins for just about every holiday or observance.

Just confirming this pin releasing 4-20 at DLR and will be available at Plaza Pavilion Pin Carts, Silver Spur, Disney’s Pin Traders and P.T. Flea Market.
