How often do CastMember pins come out?

Just curious about Cast Member pins. How often do new ones come out? And do they ever retire them?

Cast lanyard pins usually come out at the beginning of every month

The Cast Exclusive pins - the ones with the hidden mickeys on them.

Those would be the Cast Lanyard pins, those are the ones that have the hidden mickeys on them and appear on lanyards, they are usually part of a set of 6 or so. Cast Exclusive pins are usually not part of set, and other than being identified as such on the backstamp of the pin there are no other identifying things.
