Finding Nemo Opening Day Pin Info!

Well I'm confused!! This makes it sound like we actually purchase the pin at a secondary location inside Disneyland. It says theme park admission required. Oh well I guess we'll see when we get there.

I'm going to be there that weekend and check to see with a CM how exactly this is going to work the day before, that way there are no surprises on that day. If indeed they are only going to give out the wristbands at DTD ... then why would they open the pin store at 7am if not to sell the pins.

I'm thinking that they would sell them in DTD to keep people from crowding around the stores in Disneyland since they do expect a lot of people ... as it is every single one of the three hotels on property is totally booked!

I am so glad you are doing this based on my pin misinformation. Oy Ve! I think the the CM's at the DTD pin trading are more knowledgeable than the other pin trading destinations.

We were kicked out of DTD at around 1am ... we just woke up to head over there once again.

Yes, there is 3 of us are in line here in DTD. We were kicked out at around 12:45, However, we didn't know what to do, so we went back to a hotel, and took a two hour nap.

Got back up, and went back to DTD at around 4. Shockingly, there are three people in line before us, they arrived at around 3. We're alittle peeved that we are not first, but at least we will get ourselves our pins.

What suprized us is that security had no clue on when or how to lineup. But, at least we know how to do it next time. If there is a next time.

I have to say to everyone involved ... this will truly be a pin I will cherish since it will have such great memories to go with it!

When I spoke to a CM yesterday at Disney Pin Traders, she said a lot of people were planning to come and get their wristbands and then going back to their hotels to go back to sleep since they have until 1pm to pick up their pins.

I joined the line around 6am, and there were maybe 20 people in front of me. Once it officially opened at 7am, it moved pretty quickly. They had four cash registers open.

I passed by it again around 8:30am on my way out, and they were still giving out wristbands.

We'll see if they have any pins left when I get back there tonight.

Yes, it has been one crazy morning but it was well worth the wait. I arrived around 5:30am got my pins at 7am. Then headed down to DL with SnowWhiteRaven, TikiRoomLiz, Skywaygirl, and MonorailMan to ride SpaceMountain and Astro Blasters. I then Left DL and headed toward DTD to go home.

At 8:30am- CM's were still distributing wristbands.

When I got there a little after 8AM there was no line but they still had to give me a wrist band. I walked to the front, they cut off the wrist band and I got my pins. When I left a little after 11AM there was still no line but they were still standing there with wrist bands in their hands? Go figure.

I Know. I was a little surprised by that also. I think everyone was heading to DL to hopefully ride Nemo Today. It's crazy there.
