lol I actually didn't even read your post before I posted... These TBs are new and from the pin event and new series - you are right that there haven't been any regular good ones lately! But yeah, that totally wasn't about you and I wouldn't have bought any Tinks if not for the special pin things.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Here is a picture of the Disney Records pin.

I should have posted this earlier, but I forgot I had the pic online already.

Just curious if anyone here got one of the Wild West or Tomorrowland pin festival surprise pins? I know that the Mara pin has already been discussed here.

Oh shoot, I saw that tomorrowland pin on Sunday night at the Downtown Disney Pin Kiosk but didn't buy it. I already had an opening of tomorrowland logo that looked very similar. Didn't know it was limited though!

On my last trip, I was able to get MANY Cast Lanyard pins (50+!), as those are what I hunt for on each trip - it's become QUITE a hobby of mine - I have a few AP pins, and because my mom loves them, Walt Disney Limited Editions. Pin Trading is something I look forward to on all my trips now - it's fun to seek out the pins with the "tiny Mickey on them" ( Cast Lanyard Pins ) - I've done it so much that I only need a quick glance to know which is which - and I love it because it gets my family involved looking for the Mickeys Not too long ago I got a Disneyland Pin at WDW - Limited Edition! A Golden Vehicles pin that was released at Disneyland

I got the Wild West pin about two weeks ago. The Tomorrowland one didn't really appeal to me though.

I've gotten some of those at the Disneyland Outlet store. I traded some away last time at DL. I still own a Jungle Cruise boat and the Horse-pulled trolley one.

    Re: Recent Pin Aquisition(s) thread!

Everyone knows that I like to collect signs, logos, and things of that nature. And since Disneyland wasn't really satisfying my urges, i turned to ebay.

What started with one pin became two. Which became three. Became four. Before I knew it... I had 14 pins won on ebay.

Ok let's take a closer look! It all started with this pin for Space Mountain:

It's the sign!!! Perfect! No silly characters around it, no weird 3D effects... just a normal pin that says 'space mountain'. I won that one for $5.83.

Then I won this Epcot Center pin for $3.75.

Then I won this Fantasmic! pin for $8.69. The price tag on the back reads $10.95!

I won this DCA pin for $3.25. See... the logo looks great! I don't think they should change the name of the park. It's fine. Just change the content of the park itself. The name is perfectly fine.

This Tokyo DisneySea pin was $4.01.

    Disney-MGM Studios pin was $4.44.

Tokyo Disneyland was $9.70.. the most expensive pin I won.

Disneyland Paris cost me only $5.88

    Magic Kingdom cost me $9.25

    Walt Disney STudios was $4.24

    Expedition Everest was $3.57

Tower of Terror cost me $9.45. Original price was $10.95.

    Animal Kingdom was only $4.52

Hong Kong Disneyland grand opening pin was $3.50.

And last but not least, from another ebay person, the Pirates Lair signage for $10.51

Pretty cool yah? I was EXTREMELY happy with the prices I got these pins for. They totally satisfy my logo and sign fix and the fact that they're Imagineering exclusives makes them all the cooler.
