Does anyone know of any websites where I can find out how much my pins could be worth? or at the very least know of a good place to sell them?

ebay is the best place. It's the only place I know of to check values. Go to the advanced search engine and place your search and make sure to only include closed listings only.
Tomart's guide is a pin book with "ok" value prices. Pins fluxuate so much the book is out of date once it is printed. Good luck!

"Price Guides" can be very deceiving. An item can price for just about anything. If it can actually be sold for that is another question.

Like anything the "Worth" depends on 2 things. How rare is it, and how in demand is it?

I have been a sports card collector all my life, and laughed when people switched to "Beanie Baby's" and lost big time. The problem is if an item becomes woth a lot, such as the original BB's what is to stop the manufacturer from pumping out an extra 500,000 and cashing in? Pins can be the same. Sports cards are a little better, but not by much.

Collect them if they are worth something to you. Do not collect anything for the purpose of thinking someday you will re-sell them and get rich. It won't happen.

Re: how to determine pin value

pin trader magazine (tolbert's guide) sold in the park or on city walk will give the current values of pins. the book runs about 30 dollars but it gives the current values of most pins unless it is very new. hold on to some pins they will go up in value .
for example i bought one of maleficent holding her staff with the crow on her shoulder this pin is now worth 40 dollars!

Ebay is not the way to price a pin's value.
many people put prices on them just to clear them out or work on the greed of the person's desperation of wanting a particular pin.
Also be wary of people that sell on ebay. I had a bad experience of buying from a person this persons pics of the pins were not the pins I ended up with their are many counterfeits out there as well as scabbers. also if the pin's price is to good to be true then it is probably a fake.

At lease you can trade scabbers! I spent 119.72 for 100 pins which I only got 40 and they were bad.
I am now aware of how many people get scammed . If you want to buy pins then go to Disney store in person or online or buy from the park at lease you know they are real and you can trade with them.
