Disney Star Wars Mystery Pin Collection

I just came across a new mystery pin collection on the Official pin site. The collection stars Disney Characters as Star Wars characters. Here is a link.

    http://eventservices.disney.go.com/p...g/pin?id=35001

    They have

Donald as Han Solo and Darth Maul
    Goofy as Chewbacca
    Daisy as Aurra Sing
    Pete as Boba Fett
    Mickey as Anakin Skywalker
Minnie as Leia (in the Gold bikini no less)
    Chip and Dale as Ewoks
Stitch as Yoda and the Emperor

Only disappointment, I'd love to see Jessica Rabbit as Leia.

Lord... I've been doing pretty good staying away from these Star Wars related pins but it's becoming a tad harder.

Yeah I am thinking about trying to get the whole set. We might have to set up some set trading here on Micechat.

Not directly related to this mystery pin set, but I saw this Yoda pin coming out next month and it just seems hilarious to me....

That is a nice one. I also like the Stormtrooper eating the Mickey icecream.

My daughter saw the ice cream one and said "look how much chocolate he has on his face - messy eater" - my reply "no mouth?"

LOL. Well remember how good Stormtrooper aim is. Even if he had a mouth, he'd probably still get the Ice cream in his eye.

I am sure that the relationship between Disney and George Lucas must be growing closer(again). They have had a lot of new designs lately. Could pins be the start of getting a new video for Star Tours? HAHA! Kinda doubt it......

I'm planning on getting some of the mystery pins. If anyone else gets them and wants to trade, let me know. Of course they don't come out until 4/27 so we have some time. I want to get a complete set. Hopefully it will not be too hard.

What about the Ducks from the mystery set, Daisy as Aurra Sing and Donald as both Han Solo and Darth Maul?

    O I WILL get those!
I've been trying to keep my pins to Donald, Daisy, the nephews, Scrooge and Ludwig. But now I'm just going to have to get the Yoda and Stormtrooper one too because of how funny they are!

Re: Disney Star Wars Mystery Pin Collection

Coheteboy and I managed to get 2 complete sets between us. We only had to buy 20 pins (or ten boxes). So we don't have any extras.

I was thinking about what they could do if they have another series. Some combos we have seen, but not as pins in this set include Goofy as Jar Jar Binks, Minnie as Padme Amidala, and Mickey as Luke Skywalker. So let's assume those 3 are in the set. Here are a few other ideas they could do. I did try to not have the human characters (like princesses or Peter Pan) or have 1 Disney Character playing 2 roles in the same era (ie having Goofy playing Chewbacca and Darth Vader). So here are my suggestions for series 2. I am really proud of a few of these.

    Goofy as Jar Jar Binks
    Minnie Mouse as Padme Amidala
Mickey Mouse as Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Gear)
Scrooge McDuck as Obi Wan Kenobi (episode 4): I love this idea
Pete as Jango Fett: Since he plays Boba Fett in the first series and Boba is a clone of Jango this makes a lot of sense to me.
Daisy Duck as Mara Jade Skywalker: Ok, Mara Jade may not be in the films, but outside of Leia there is almost no females in the Original Trilogy
Pluto as a Nexu: The Nexu isfrom episode 2. It is the creature that attacks Amidala in the Arena. Think of the times Pluto is devilsh in some of his short films if it helps.
Roger Rabbit as Captain Tarpals: Tarpals is the Gungan from Episode one that arrests Jar Jar when he reaches the underwater city. Thwe goofiness of the character and his long ears would work for Roger.
Jessica Rabbit as Sabe`: Sabe is the Handmaiden played by Keira Knightly, the one who takes Amidala place when they meet the Gungans. I know I said no humans, but Jessica is an exception to me.

    And my absolute favorite idea...
The Beagle Boys as Stormtroopers: Lets see, characters that are very similar in appreance, large in numbers, and bad to the bone. Yep I think this is a match made in heaven.
