Doesn't matter, I don't do Pin Trading!
I currently have 45 pins, going to get at least 2 more on Sunday.
It's a bad bad habit.
Just countin' the days til the next visit!
The number one rule of pin trading..... Never figure out how many pins you have and how much you have spent on pins. The actual results are quite frightening.
I'm not sure how many I have. I'll have to count next time.
I went a little crazy at first, but got some good advice: Pick a focus area. Now I have 2 or 3 categories I collect (carousel, cuties, and classic Disneyland) which helps me narrow down when I'm looking. This one bit of advice saved me from spending tons of money on pins that I just thought were cute, but didn't really love.
<o>
I have a focus area, but it's pretty big (my main one is Tinker Bell) so I also only but pins that I like. It helps cut down a lot on the number I buy!
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
My new focus of pin types are Goofy (Gwarsh!). I am also trying to get my pin trading fingers on a few more CM pins (Fastpass and Footprints).
I am heading to the parks on Sunday and planning on buying a goofy pin, boosting my count to... 125!
Anybody else like to share their pins?
I like finding attraction pins... or other pins like attractions as well, such as a Crystal Arcade facade pin I found from 2001, and a neat Paradise Pier dangle pin that has the old DCA logo on the back, w/ pin trading logo not to be found on it.
It is! Actually, I'd seen it before on a CM's lanyard, but a lady came up and snaked it just before I got to the CM. So I found another one finally, after like 3 months haha. Here's the pin.
