SeaWorld California
I don't know how I feel about it. It doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the park. I'm also not sure how convincing the "under the sea" theme will be in an outdoor area. The entrance might end up looking like DCA's Jumping Jellyfish.
I thought that to
1 they need a big "E" ticket
2 they should have a dome wall on top and project the Ocean on it
I'm happy that Sea World is really stepping things up and plussing the park in every way possible but I really felt that last coaster went too far. They're removing the "sea" from sea world. ( And yes, I am aware that the manta rays weren't eliminated, they were relocated back into the exhibit; but how would you like to be a sea animal sharing an enclosure with a roller coaster? ) This entrance could be a nice plus for the park but I'm wary of animal enclosures and sea shows being replaced by more and more roller coasters.
....besides, all I ever do when I go there is hang out in the Wild Arctic area and pretend it's the set to The Thing, always asking other customers when the last time was they saw MacReady or the dog handler alone.
Your first, your last, your only defense against the scum of the ethereal plane.
I really want this entrance in Orlando! The art looks amazing!
