Shark Encounter at SeaWorld Orlando.
This attraction was once called Terrors of the deep when they added a few other walk through aquariums which include at walk through of a reef aquarium. They also have a Barracuda tank as well. They reverted to the current name several years ago.
The shark on top of the tube in the picture above is called a Sawfish. It's also known as a Carpenter Shark. It's actually part of the Ray family and not part of the shark family according to Wikipedia. It is on the Critically Endangered Species list and really very much in danger of becoming extinct.
Very cool. I always love the walk through aquarium features. It lets you experience the natural environment in a completely unique way. Approaching it as excluding you from the natural environment of the animals while including you in the feel of it.
Additionally, the preservation of the Sawfish is another reason SeaWorld is of great importance and needs support, not criticism. SeaWorld does a lot of great work like this.
