After Shanghaî, what other destinations for future Disney theme parks?

I think the next Disney would be build in Brazil, maybe in Rio de Janeiro or Brasilia in the center of the country or even in Manaus (Amazon) on the north!

Looks like Disney is trying to turn into the next Six Flags.

After all, brazilians are the third in Magic Kingdom's attendance, Brazil is the world's tenth largest economy, the fifth most populous, both poverty and violance have been reduced. You're all invited for the 2014 Football World Cup, the 2016 Olympic....

I think Australia would be a great location for a Disney resort. SYDNEY DISNEY has a certain ring to it and could be spelled out in Waltscript.

Hasn't Six Flags had at one time owned over like, 25 theme parks? Disney only has there 12 (higher quality) parks.

I would actually LOVE to visit an Australian Disney park. I think tht is a prime location over HKDL/Shanghai ever was or will be.

It's more likely they'd build a third Chinese park before building one in Brazil. Flights to Florida are relatively cheap for the wealthy Brasilianos that want Disney.

I designed the blueprint for a Sydney Disneyland when I was an obsessed Disney youth. It included all the show buildings, service roads, and support buildings behind the scenes.

I thought it would be next after Euro/Paris. But I guess the population doesn't compare to China's.

With a population of only 20 million .. I don't think Australia can support another theme park. One quarter of that population is in the greater Sydney area itself. And from what I've been told ... there have been some tourist attractions that have gone belly up, that were in Sydney.

Locals have told me Disney would need to join the Gold Coast bandwagon and build near SeaWorld, MovieWorld etc.

Okay, my money is on either Rio, Berlin or Madrid.
