Yes
No
No. Rapunzel's Tower or Castle featured at the end of a woodsy-style Main Street. There's some concept art that shows this and I think the Tower or Castle from Tangled would be great at the end of it.
I call foul.
Tangled looks mediocre and the tower is a weenie but does not come close to competing with a real Disney icon like Cinderella's Castle, Vulcania, and the Tree of Life...
One measly tower? Sorry, not my thing.
I think a tride and true Snow White's castle would be wonderful.
one hundred and one
ORDDU: A while back we read one of Jim Hill's articles, which implied that Shanghai will have either Rapunzel's tower or the castle from Rapunzel as their Fantasyland icon at the end of Main Street. We shall certainly soon find out how true this is...
Originally I was hoping for a Rapunzel Castle.... however then I saw the trailer and... ehh...
ORDDU: The trailer for Rapunzel is very misleading. If you go the the topic thread right here on Mice Chat--in the NEWS section--there is someone who says he has actually seen the test screening for Tangled, as it's now called, and that the movie is actually very good without the rock music that the trailer plays in the background. Disney is trying so hard to appeal to young boys, at the moment, that they're misleading the public about the true nature of this film. It's disgusting of them to do that, if you ask this witch.
I hope we get something along the lines of the castle in Tangled/Rapunzel (heavily inspired by Mont St. Michel):

last time i buy crystal ball from pic n save!
Just seen the "inspiration" video that the Studio has uploaded on YouTube and it screamed Shanghai castle and Fantasyland.
That looks like the castle in Shanghai Disneyland!
...I guess I was the last one to notice...
...by the way, the Tangled trailer is just aweful. Why does Disney have to make stupid movies for stupid children. Atleast that is what the trailer makes the movie look like. A classic fairytale could be sold as an amazing adventure and something big. Adding music that sounds like Pink to a Disney fairytale is just a bad taste. American rock music belongs in America and not in a classic fairytale. This is not Shreck!

ORDDU: That's why we said the trailer for Tangled is so misleading, Timmy, duckling. The music for Tangled is being written by Alen Menken and NOT Pink. It's just that the marketing department at Disney is trying to mislead boys into thinking this is going to be more than just a Disney princess type film. So they're playing around with our minds. Not very nice of them!

^Very true. Its a sad state of affairs when then have to resort to it, I'll admit. But I don't think it is the true representation of the film.
Take a look at this video showing the "look" of the film. I can easily see "The Snuggly Ducking" either getting built in Shanghai or if not one of the American parks.

I'd still prefer a good ole Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella castle
Mike SkellingtonMy Tumblr.....Pretty Please Follow!!!!!!!!! And I'll follow you back.
I'd love to see them do Tritons castle, and have Ariels Adventure inside!
Or Beasts with a similar new dark ride based on BATB inside.
No more empty castles.
