ORWEN: They're really coming along fast! It looks like Main Street USA is almost finished. And that big old barn that they're painting must surely be part of Big Thunder Ranch!!!

The only real concept picture out there that counts is the one in the Disney museum. But nobody has the energy to go there and snap a GOOD picture of it. You will have to be happy about the pictures posted earlier because thats all there is.
Yeah well atleast it all looks better than Toy Story Playland.

I see no problem with the pics. WDW was a swamp before Walt. I have high hopes for SDL. There are amazing structures being built in Shanghai now. And the Iger regime is significantly different from the Eisner one.

Down with the Hat
I hope they're going to build the castle from Tangled. It would be unique to the park and be one more reason to visit.
In the past the infield temporary office and construction buildings have always been 2 stories tall. Interesting to see only 1 story here.
On the construction site

According to the latest news, they're building the road(s) leading to the future resort first and begin the initial construction in April or May.
Is it true the magic kingdom park will be ~1.1 square kilometers big? That's about twice the size of the one in Paris!![]()
That news, as reported by Disney and more, http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/20...isneyland.html, also says that the lake inside the theme park is going to be a whopping 96 acres!!!
thanks for the pics.
I have to say I like the layout. But the four hotels make me think about the DLP mistake...

I'm pretty sure the one on the very left is the Polynesian one attached to Adventureland we saw in an earlier rendering.
What strikes me odd, it appears there's enough space for a second gate on the east side of the resort but with their plans for a third and possibly fourth gate, how come they put the entrance in the south, where they'll probably going to expand?
Looks pretty decent layout to me. I have reservations on the number of hotels as well, but that small but maybe they're not all supposed to open on day one?
And I know its ridiculous discussing it when the first phase has hardly begun, but I assume the second gate goes on the large plot to the east, and the third gate would go on that south west plot?
