What I hope will be there!

:beg:I really, really think the following should occur in Shanghai:

1. Toy Story Mania (I own the video game!)
2. Toy Story Land (sounds fun so far!)
3. Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters (Buzz is my 2nd fav!)
4. Toy Story Playland (AWESOME and TOY STORY-COATED!)
5. Those collectable tins of hot cocoa w/ Buzz Lightyear on the tin and it's food-colored green (I got one of those when a friend went to DL!)
6. M&G Jessie (so WHAT if they don't really talk!?)
7. M&G Buzz Lightyear
8. Toy Story parades, musicals, and stage shows (yes, I KNOW they're just peeps in costumes, WHO CARES!?)
9. awesome resorts that are affordable and Toy Story-coated!
10. (best for last!) INCLUDE JESSIE!!!!!! This is the 1 thing that urks me, u know, when my fav character isn't included! I LIKE GIRL POWER!!!!!!!

Oh please, no Toy Story (Play) Land. Disney parks are supposed to be unique from the average carnival, Walt Disney himself said that is what he wanted Disneyland to be, and that's what he made it. Toy Story Playland is just a bunch of cheap off the shelf carnival rides themed to Toy Story that you could find anywhere.
Toy Story themed resorts is also a no for me. Making one hotel themed to Toy Story doesn't sound like one I would want to stay at. I prefer hotels themed to multiple Disney movies. Affordable-yes, Toy Story themed-no.

thats a pretty terrible idea to be blunt for a magnitude of reasons. You might expect to see astro blasters in the magic kingdom park on opening day and a toy story themed shop, a whole parade dedicated to the movie is a bit rich, maybe one float, and i seriously doubt they would dedicate a whole hotel to the franchise. The parks need variety and this is just too much toy story.

I see you're a huge Toy Story fan ;)

I hope there will be Emperor Zurg and eliminate all those corny rides

Yup! I'm even thinking about having a Toy Story-coated Christmas tree! Of course, Mom would have a fit if I did that, b/c she's obsessed w/ Harry Potter. I keep telling her how it ends, and she keeps throwing holy fits about that.

1. I believe that only BLAB or TSM should be rides at a Disney park. A whole land dedicated to one franchise is a big no for me. Bugs Land at California Adventure is a land I hate and I would like to see most of that demolished exept for It's Tough to Be A Bug and Flik's Flyers and everything else replaced. I cannot say my thoughts about Cars Land since it is being built. I think that all of TSPL should be demolished and replaced by something else. Same goes for Hong Kong when they get Toy Story Land.
2. Yes. If Toy Story got 1 or 2 rooms I would be happy as long as it is in a hotel that covers all of Disney and Pixar's movies.

So...while I believe Buzz & TSMM could survive in one park together...they'd have to be differently themed in my mind to do so (but HKDL could prove me wrong...)

But Toy Story Land and Toy Story Playland are the same thing...

OH! I get it! You're doubling it to make up for the lack of capacity that they have. I get it.

Yep, Toy Story PlayLand and the one being built at HKDL will be the same. I just put Play in () since at HKDL they are taking out Play and just leaving it as Toy Story Land.

Yeah, I don't think she understands they are the exact same thing with the exact same rides and decorations.
