Come 2015, visitors will have a metro line to travel back and forth between the city and the Shanghai Disneyland theme park. Shanghai environmental authorities have published an online report announcing the 9.2-kilometer metro line at a projected cost of $606.3 million.
The Shanghai downtown Luoshan Road Station is where the new line will connect with Metro Line 11. Using shuttle bus lines, Disneyland's own station will be connected to Metro Line 2. Three new stations will be added to the Disneyland metro line: an underground Disneyland station, the Hengxin Road station, and an elevated Kangqiao Road E. station.
