How much will we see during construction?

I was thinking, the net has changed quite a lot since the last Disney park was constructed. Hong Kong started when net fandom was still in its infancy, so there wasn't much need to show what was going on.

Now we have things like the Disney Parks blog giving an "insider" view on works in progress, so will we see more of what's happening in Shanghai or will they keep it as close to their chest as possible (to stop copycat construction)?

Nobody's going to be able to build a fake Disneyland in Shanghai before Disney builds their park.

Wouldn't the Chinese government be equally embarrassed? They're 57% owners of this resort.

I don't think Communist Party officals will allow construction of this sort of thing in China.

It took Disney decades to get approval to build an official park and why would the Chinese want to allow something that would be bad for their 57% investment in this $4billion project?

That's the good thing about it. Having an interest in the project should mean they will try and prevent any imitations.

Is that place still open? Couldn't Disney have had it shut down as part of their Shanghai Disney agreements with the Chinese Gvt if they were really concerned about knockoff parks?
