SOME work at the Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone, the site of the city's future Disneyland, has been halted temporarily because local authorities found that the earth-moving equipment being used was overloaded and not licensed.
Violations were found at the site in the Pudong New Area on Saturday.

Having been in Shanghai area a few months ago, any trucks or cars are not speeding, would be the exception. Not a surprising story, but hopefully they get things running again soon.
I just hope Disney is supervising this closely. I don't want a shotty construction!

Al Lutz reports that Tom Staggs has ordered WDI to scale down SHDL from 5 lands to 3.

It seems Disney isn't able to learn from past mistakes. They are going to repeat the HKDL mistake and build not enough attraction. DLRP is 20 years ago and they are still afraid of building a too big resort. There they just built too many rooms while the park had enough attractions.
It's more likely going to be a layout similar to HKDL with a Main Street and three lands, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland. I have no problem with that if they have a good number of high quality attractions within these lands on opening day. Over at Blue Sky they've posted a report on some of what we can expect when it opens.
