We were sent over there with the message that only we would defend Disney quality.. We learnt quickly that the Japanese culture speaks to a level of quality that is hard to comprehend. They were all unbelievably skilled and willing to do the right thing.

    its for all the princess
if its like every other disney park, trust me it would be very boring. do you know that a boat would travel under the castle and around fantasyland. thats just one of the fresh ideas for the park.

ORWEN: I don't like the idea of a castle without an identity. Since they still haven't built any castles in honor of Beauty & the Beast, I was hoping this one would end up being for them. The poor Beast continues to roam the globe homeless. It's so sad.

Um... sources? You just came in and said "this will happen". I'm not doubting the things you're saying, because they do sound very likely to happen, but I am very curious.

The inside of the castle looks neat and if it serves as the central Meet n Greet area for all the Disney Princesses then that is an added bonus. It will be great to finally have the Princess Meet n Greets inside of the actual castle instead of in a facility or tent off to the side of it like in most of the other parks.

Im more interested in this park's Adventureland and Tomorrowland. Fantasyland sounds okay I guess as long as it isn't killed by an overabundance of "photo spots" and meet & greets like HKDL's one is.

Yeah cause all the other Disney Parks are boring too.

PUH-LEASE. Give me a break. Get off your high horse assuming Shanghai will be god of Disney Parks. Certainly doesn't seem that way for me right now. Generic castle, shortness on Fantasyland rides, no wonderful walk down main street towards the castle.

Re: the new castle name and fantasyland attractions

I feel that the general lack of Fantasyland attractions will be offset by the castle, unlike in HKDL which is just pretty bare, even if it's the most developed in a way of all the lands.

Looking back, we shouldn't have been surprised at this development since the huge IP that is the Disney Princesses line. Better if they could all share it, like a vacation home of sorts. We've had mishmashed events/attractions in the previous castles anyway, the former King Stefan's Banquet Hall and the Mystery Tour.

Couldn't agree more. I just think the whole eco-friendly plaza idea is really lame (no offense to anyone who loves trees) and is a cheap stand-in for a proper entry land.

Well there's that, and I think disney did that because chinese love those kind of tree areas. Also, I do agree that it's not as good as a proper entry land like Main Street or World bazaar

I have to say that I love all the Mainstreet USAs... It´s possible to make a park unique without having to cut out one of the main elements. I don´t buy the whole... "china can´t relate to Mainstreet USA".
