Hi all.
Ok so....my friend talked me into going to Six Flags with them on November 15th. I'm NOT a roller coaster fan and I know I'm glutting for punishment this time.
So I want to know, what are some "scaredy-cat" must go rides?
I'm excited and nervous so any info would be helpful. I've never been there before.
Oh, and the we are going to "magic mountain'' to be exact.
For coasters that are on the "lighter" side, you should ride Gold Rusher and Ninja (if they're still there - I haven't been to Magic Mountain for a couple of years). Colossus is a classic wooden coaster - shouldn't be too alarming for you.

Let's see, how do you deal with intensity, inversions, speed, height, any problems with restraints, what's the biggest coaster you've been on, these are just some questions to get the ball rolling...I'm a bit of an expert on coasters.
And by the way, not the best choice for a coaster-weenie to visit the place with the second highest concentration of them in the country:p

Ninja is an extremely fun ride. Make sure you sit in the very front seat.
Revolution has only one loop, and is a fun ride. But it is very rough. You have to sort of ride defensevly.
Gold Rusher was rough last time I was on it, but it is tame.
Superman is very tall, but unless you look backwards, you will not know how high up you are. The ride does not even go near the top anymore, and is SHORT.
Hopefully you have fun! Inversions do nothing for me anymore. I would give anything to get the feeling back of being scared of them again. I miss the pounding heart, the nervousness. In a way I am envious of people who still get to enjoy that.

As for rides you might want to take a chance on:
Superman - Yes it looks tall, and fast, and scary, but it's not. It's a launch like Screamin'. It does go faster, but it takes longer to get up to top speed, so it doesn't seem as intense.
Colossus - The tallest drop is only 7 feet taller than the big drop on Screamin'. No loops or anything. I think you'll be fine here.
Other than those, everything else either contains multiple inversions or 200+ foot drops (Goliath).
IF by chance you want to be REALLY adventurous and "Live life" as snorkeld said, I'd start with Scream. It's probably the tamest multi-inversion ride at the park.

As for your poll, the only ones I would say for you not to try would be Goliath and Viper. The rest you should be fine with.
