Six Flags proably is just focuing on their brand. Now when the WB owned the parks, that is a different story all together. It is a shame that the WB/Hanna-Barbera Characters never had a true Disney/Universal type park. Something that would go all the way out with theming and attractions.

Oh my bad... I didn't realize the WB and Six Flags weren't a couple anymore. When did this happen??

Behold! The Water Tower at SFMM. What's next up on the suggestion list?

If I had some extra money I'd put that thing indoors, put up some mock sky scraper flats with lit windows on both sides of the track to give you the illusion of flying through the city in a Batwing. I'd also have little lights on the ground to represent cars moving about and maybe simulated bullet fire.

..oh and the Danny Elfman music wouldn't hurt.
The Batman track is quite loud already so if you put it indoors along with the Elfman music (which you can hear right now in the queue) as well as simulated bullet fire, well that would be making the ride even more "extreme" than it already is.

Haha fair enough. But I still stand by the whole going through the city idea!

I'm not implying that it isn't a great idea but considering the speeds at which you're traveling at on that ride plus the loops and rolls, just how much attention is going to be paid to the theming?

It's not about paying attention... it's just that they're there. Streaks of light is all you need to imply that you're going through the city. Which is why they don't even need to make it look all that fancy... just flat walls with illuminated window squares. It's all in the illusion.

Okay, I hear you on that. Something akin to Space Mountain's star effects, right? Minimalist yet effective theming.

In the 90's, Warner later sold it to Premeire Parks.
