Oh my gosh! This looks like such an awesome ride! Great job, Six Flags!
Wait a minute... did I just say what I thought I said?

I finally made it to the park today and my first stop was Monster Mansion. I was absolutely blow away! I was expecting some new paint and a couple new figures, but the whole attraction was greatly improved. Familiar scenes have been redone and new ones added.
Where Monster Mansion really shines is in the Marsh scene. The "Davy Jones" like projection is better executed than the one at the Magic Kingdom (I have yet to see Disneyland's). The Marsh is much darker and better lit than ever before.
The ride was much scarier and a good number of little ones left in tears.
Six Flags first dark ride was at their first theme park in Texas. It was dark boat ride, very unique i might add, and it was called the speelunker's Cave, a very eerie boat ride and its rumored that Walt felt the sixflags founder had one-upped him and he came back with it's a small world.
