Six Flags Magic Mountain Report 4/16

Thanks to all who provided tips. It really helped.

I arrived around 10am but headed to Dennys for brunch.

When we got in, it was around 11am.

This is the rides we did in order along with my rating:

Viper: A fun and good start. First ride with 3 loops! Though it could be longer, it's still fun. Rating 4/5

JetStream: Really a fun water ride! Rating 4/5

GoldRusher: This was actually a pretty good coaster.Rating 4/5

Terminator Salvation: This has to be the best Wooden Coaster since Ghostrider! The Preshow audio could be less louder though. Rating 5/5

Riddlers Revenge: My first Stand-Up Coaster. The only problem I have is actullay adjusting myself when I got in. I couldn't get myself lower. And me head was banging on the restraint. 3/5

Batman the Ride: This can be described as the smaller but meaner version of Silver Bullet. Very good! 5/5

Colossus: One side was running. It actually was pretty good despite being an old coaster. 4/5

Scream: This became one of my favorites! Really good Floorless Coaster! 4/5

Golaith: OMG! THis was an excellent rollercoaster. Just going up the lift hill gives a suspense to first timers. Rode it twice! 5/5

Tatsu: My first flying coaster. This is a really good one! The loop is the best part! 5/5 Rode twice!

X2: The final coaster of the day. This was a very good coaster with music and fire! 5/5

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the attractions. What about the rest of the park? Thoughts? Comments?

I think Riddler's deserves a better rating then that! Seriously... you're standing... on a roller coaster! C'mon!!!!

Based on what others had said about the park in past years, its a good thing I decided to wait until this year. The service as actually pretty good. Food was decent (ok, I had Papa Johns). And the overall attempt at Themeing sort of contends with Knotts. A good park to visit a couple times a year!

    Park Rating 4/5

Sorry, but Standing Coasters are my least favorite. The adjusting part was what really ticked me off. Riddlers is in the bottom of my to-do list for Six Flags

If you don't know how to position yourself on a stand-up coaster (meaning you've ridden them before) they can be terribly unpleasant. Even one as good as Riddlers.

Glad you had a fun trip to the park!!!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your visit, Forbidden Eye. We went yesterday as well.

We've had Papa John's in the park before. This time we tried the Longhorns Barbecue, which was decently priced and was good, quality food. Riddler's is fun, but I agree that if you get "locked" into a position you're not comfortable in it does affect how much you enjoy the ride. It can be a bit dizzying too in the middle of the day, but it's totally fun.

I wonder if I bumped into you yesterday and didn't know it.

I wasn't wearing my trademark fedora and didn't had my bag. I had a black leather jacket, black shirt, black pants and brown shoes. I might've saw you. Just wasn't noticing.

I'm glad you had a great time, Forbidden Eye!

Riddler's is not that high on my list as well. I would gladly trade a few of those loops for a bit more speed.
