    Re: Flashback at six flags

    good riddance, i say.

flashback, freefall, and psyclone are three rides i would be happy to see gone. flashback and psyclone are just unnecessarily painful (and viper is getting that way). my ex-boyfriend and i got stuck at the top of freefall (it didn't move forward onto the track after rising up the shaft) and they had to chain the car up so we wouldn't fall. we had to come down the stairs on the side after having to crawl out of the car individually after first being pried out of our restraints.

    yeah, good times. [/sarcasm]

I find it funny that they say the noise is too much for the water park. The noise in the water park can be just as friggin loud when the kids are screaming.

I hope the new management just scraps the ride and replace it with a dark ride or a flat ride.

^ that just gave me another question... does Six Flags even have any "dark rides" or any indoor rides? I don't think that they do..

That ride was really loud! Even if people were screaming, I don't think that you could have heard them.

If I remember correctly, the ride didn't present a problem when the water park first opened. For the second season they added new pools in the area right next to it.

Then they turned the ride into a SBNO except every now and then...

Yes, depending on the park they do. I know one of the American parks has the Scooby-Doo ride and at SFNE they have a Joker flat ride indoors and a Houdini ride which is also at SFGA.
