Six Flags - Arlington

I'll be going to Arlington in a few weeks and decided to stop by the Six Flags in Arlington. Anybody else here been? How is it? What would you recommend?

I saw an AP to the park is $68 so I'm most likely going to buy that, especially since I go to Arlington quite a bit. Other then that I have no idea what to expect.

I LOVE Six Flags Over Texas.

It's one of my favorite in the Six Flags chain.

Just FYI, it's closed for all of February and doesn't start opening for the weekends until March 1st.

And just remember, that $68 pass can be used at ANY Six Flags park.

If your going to be going to TX alot, I would also recommend taking a drive down to San Antonio and doing Six Flags Fiesta TX. Another great Six Flags park that has great theming that would be on par with Busch/Sea World.

Thanks Sir Clinks, I wasn't aware the pass could be used at ANY Six Flags - I'll be getting it for sure then! Oh, and I will make my way down to San Antonio in the future as well.

I did check when it was open as well, I was disappointed to find out on my last trip it was closed. So my time there is scheduled for when it opens in March! I can't wait!!!

I love SFOT. It's one of the crown jewels in the Six Flags chain. It does get busy, though. I went during Spring Break and it was packed! Most roller coasters had at least an hour wait! Still, I had fun. You might need to invest in Q-Bot on busy days.

I was expecting the crowds, so I'll be buying an annual pass to visit the park multiple days - plus it helps that I can use it when I come back to L.A. in Magic Mountain.

Now my trip is just a few weeks away, and I'm VERY excited for it!!!

Wish I had some words of wisdom for you Liz, but the last time I was in Six Flags over Texas was in 1988.... I'm sure like Disneyland, its changed a lot since then!

Well, in 9 days I'll be over there ... and I can't wait! I'm really looking forward to this trip, and everything will be new to me when I step foot in that park.

Doesnt it make more sense then to buy the season pass at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I think its only $58?

I go to GA all the time I keep wanting to go to six flags there, I am making my last trip next week and will have no time to go. Have fun in Arlington Liz!
