As I have said all along, I'd rather walk than take the ART system!

Rude and reckless drivers, smelly overcrowded buses, way too many stops and now drivers that lie and take bribes! And good-golly Wally, you have the honor of paying for that kind of service!

And some folks wonder why the Disney company doesn't want ART servicing their properties...

I don't blame them!!! (and since we usually stay on-property, I'm VERY glad they don't!)

As far as the "walking distance" hotels in the $50 to $60 ranges go, I'd much rather go the Priceline route and stay in the 3 1/2 star Hyatt, Marriott Suites, Hilton, Doubletree or others for usually less than $50/night. Some with quality, free, shuttles.

Oh, and the bugs in the room! Yikes!!!

I'm going to get a room for Nov. 8th, and reading all the posts, examining priceline, etc. it seems like Ho Jo's is the go. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews of the Disneyland Hotel. I wanted to stay there for the view, but the numerous negative reviews soured me on the idea. I'm still considering the Candy Cane Inn, as many love that place as well.
