Re: Priceline or Hotwire what has been your latest winning bids.

Thanks for the confirmation 1disneylandfan, I was nervous at first not being within walking distance, but the prices near dl were not even close unless it was a 2.5 star with crap ratings and no free parking or breakky. Also we will have 2 days away from the parks, and we can go to the orange outlets or walk around old orange.

Pretty easy to get to M&F parking structure. Just drive down Chapman until you get to West Street and turn right. That street will turn into Disneyland Drive. When you get to Ball Road make a u-turn and stay in the lanes on the left side and you will roll right into the structure.

That part of Orange is a pretty nice area. Your hotel should be right near a Best Buy and their is also a Starbucks and Wendy's in that shopping plaza. Possibly a Quizno's too but can't exactly remember.

I've used Priceline/Hotwire many times because I want to save money and stay in a nice place as well. I always bid in the South area zone and for a 3.5 star because I know I will get either the Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Doubletree, and the few times I've done 3 star I got the Hilton Garden Inn.

I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with your stay there

Just got the crowne plaza for this weekend for 65 a night.

Oh and I called to see if I could request a double bed room since I'm with my two kids. I was already booked into a double bed but she went ahead and moved me to a bunk bed room so that was really an unexpected treat!

I rarely see postings for the Guest Suites on Harbor on Betterbidding's website, although I hear it's nice.
The one on City drive does have a really nice shuttle service though, every half hour...

I've stayed there a few times on Priceline... overall a good hotel. It's also nice in that there's a Von's and Shopping nearby.

I just booked Red Lion off Priceline for $60 night. I booked 2 rooms May 15-20. I think this hotel should be ok.
