    Re: Hotel Menage Anaheim Boutique

I wrote to the hotel and expressed my displeasure and the owner emailed me a very nice letter and said they are working to fix the bathrooms, and, offered me a couple of free nights on my next trip...so...IF they are fixed when I am there in December, I will take them up on it. Hey---2 nights free! haha! Then to nicer digs, afterall, it is our 20th wedding anniversary!

Hey I stayed there April 14th and 15th and I thought it was all right. I didn't spend much time in the bathroom, but what I really loved was going to the hot tub to soak my feet and have a drink after Disneyland closed. Their pool is open 24/hours a day. For that reason, I liked it there. But we also had friends staying at a place on Harbor right accross from the Main Entrance, which was nice because we had a place to change into dry clothes without driving off property. I'm a local, so I don't usually get a room in Anaheim. But it was fun having two rooms to go to last week!

Our bathroom was fine, I really didn't have any complaints. I think we were facing away from the freeway, too. The rooms were pretty well soundproofed, we were on the 3rd floor.

Yeah, it was great having two rooms available, one with 24 hour pool and the other accross the street from the main entry plaza.

The hotel that was there before it became Hotel Menage was so much better and more family friendly. I had stopped here many a time to go to the restroom before heading to the parks. There was this cute little gift shop next to the restrooms and there were families everywhere. Ever since it became Menage, it has this Playboy bunny lounge feel to it in the front. Really creepy if you ask me.

I think it is trying to appeal to teens and young adults more than young families.
Anaheim needs a little differentiation. It's not like it's all-adult, I saw a lot of kids there. But the flat screen tvs and 24hr pool/jacuzzi are for a different niche.

Let me know if they put you in a better room on your free return visit.

And can I come use the hot tub when you're there?

Of course you can! Do you live in that area?? I thought you were north? If you are in that area...you and your honey should come and have dinner with me and my honey!

It was also a lot cheaper. We stayed there the last year it was a Holiday Inn and only paid about $60 a night.

I only paid a little over $60 with Priceline.

Forgot to mention, it's NOT close to walk. I would definitely take ART if anyone is staying there.

We paid $60 from the Holiday Inn website. It isn't worth much more IMO.

Not at all. I'd not recommend it until they fix up the bathrooms and do something about the I-5 noise. There's got to be something they can do.

No, I don't live in the area, but if you're at the parks on a Sunday, I might spend a day there. When are you coming down again?
