If you like hot dogs and don't mind a bit of a walk, check out Skooby's (Hollywood and Cherokee, I think). I'm something of a hot dog nut and Skooby's is my favorite place in LA. Their Guinness chili and double fried fries with aioli dipping sauce are to die for (and they cook a fine dog, as well).

I found this parking map:

Are these lots all usually open?
I was thinking about parking at the Hawthorn Lot or TV Guide lot because they are closer to Mel's / In and Out. We'll prob eat at one of those 2 places.
I decided to go with the Pig N Whistle. I bought a $25 gift card for $5 to it by following this link:
Restaurant.com - Eat. Drink. Save Money.
and then finding the pig n whistle on the site there.
Hopefully the food will be good
Can anyone make some recommendations what to get for dinner?

I don't remember what I had, but everything looked great!

Were trying to figure out a place to go eat tomorrow before we see "Phantom". I think we've decided on "Pig n' Whistle" and are going to use the Restaurant.com discount thing. That's awesome.

ya i'm definitely interested to know too.. if the pig n whistle was a disappointment, then maybe i'll decide to abort the trip there for dinner on my honeymoon... and try pawning off the gift certificate for there to someone haha
I live there so let me answer this:
For pre-packed food: Famima
For fast-food: In-N-Out
For sit-down burgers... for a price: 25 Degrees
Best Ice Cream: Mashti Malones
...but if you have a car: Milk
And if you're craving Italian and old-style Hollywood: Micelis
And Loteria just opened a restaurant on the Hollywood strip which is absolutely worth checking out -- excellent Mexican.
But if you just want bare-bones dining, there's plenty of options for tourists in Hollywood & Highland Mall.
