I'd say there really isn't any GOOD Mexican food at the DLR. Rancho is terrible, in my opinion. And, the DTD options aren't much better. The chicken nachos at the Tortilla Jo's take out window aren't bad, but, I'd leave and go for GOOD Mexican food outside the park.

They have Mexican food at DLR? Since when? Where's the 'none' option?

I wish people would consider that there is a lot more to this beautiful county than just the Disneyland Resort. Thank you for spending time outside the bubble, Yackerz, to explore the other areas of this wonderful area of California.

O ya Disneyland is nice.. but if i spend anymore than 2 days there.. I'll be missing out on the rest of california that I'll probably only have 1 time in my lifetime to see! I'll be missing out on so much as it is..because I only have a week there

Disney's description: Grilled Chicken Breast, Romaine lettuce, Red Bell Peppers, Cotija Cheese, tossed with our own zesty Pepitas Caesar dressing and topped with crisp Tortilla Strips. (It doesn't taste zesty to me, despite their description.)
Thats the one thing I haven't had at Rancho so thanks for the suggestion ~ it sounds good. I'll give it a try next week when we're there for our yearly trip.

Up the road from DL about 8 miles in Placentia is El Farolito, right in the heart of the Placita, awesome food! but I suppose like Chinese, everyone has their own faves.
I reject your reality and substitute my own

Rancho would taste so much better if they steamed their tortillas. Such a simple little thing and they fail to do that.

In retrospect, I should have had an "I'd rather eat worms" choice.

    Re: Best Mexican food?

I'd say none of these places would even make it to best food, Mexican not even close.
    • Cocina Cucamonga - Don't even know where this is!
    • Rancho Del Zocalo - I'll go there if someone else wants to eat there, while not the best this is the place I'd go to out of the three to get something to eat. I do like that you can customize your odor by telling them to add a little or a lot of sauce, cheese, etc ...
    • Tortilla Jo's - The only time I've ever eaten there was after the Gumball Rally last year and I was not impressed. I'd rather go to Rancho.

The Cocina is in Pacific Wharf of DCA. Next to Rita's.

I bet you know where Rita's is.

That explains it, the only thing I frequent in Pacific Wharf is the Tortilla Factory and then I leave. As for Rita's, I do know where that is oddly enough.
