Anyone Want a Pig N Whistle $25 Gift Cert?

I have a $25 gift certificate for Pig N Whistle that Expires 1/13/2010

I bought it online for only $5.
I'm not sure if I'll have the time to use it while I'm in Hollywood.

If anyone is heading to Pig N Whistle on Hollywood Blvd. in the near future and wants the coupon, I'm willing to negotiate a trade of something of $5 value for another restaraunt.

Here are the other places I'm planning on going for definate in the LA area:

Las Brisas, Blue Bayou, Carnation Cafe, In N Out Burger, Bubba Gumps

(P.S. I'm sorry if this isn't allowed on the board? haha I'm not sure what all the terms are but it's not like I'm trying to sell something just trade)

I almost ate there last week actually... but settled on Mel's Diner instead.

Ya the gift cert is why I decided to go with them. I thought about Mel's too. How did you like it there?

I don't think I'll be on Hollywood Blvd. long enough to warrant eating dinner there

You could always try scalping it to the folks that are walking into the place to enjoy their meal!

Since we enjoy the PNW quite often, I'd buy it from you but since restaurant.com put them on sale for $2/each recently, I stocked up on probably a years worth!

Maybe you could revive the other thread that about the PNW. It that had some pics and more folks talking about their fine meals there. That might spark an interest from someone that hasn't been there yet and they will buy yours.

haha $2 each that is insane. I got ripped off paying $5 for mine lol.

I could possibly scalp it to someone walking by. I might end up using it afterall if we have enough time on the way back from Yosemite. We'll just have to eat lunch at like 2 or 3 instead of the usual hours.

Mel's is great as a diner goes, but the one up Hollywood Blvd. is a lot better than the one at Hollywood and Highland.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Lunch "time" is what you make of it...

True.. I might go to hollywood blvd twice. Once saturday morning to just sight see without having to deal with the insane crowds. The second time Tuesday afternoon on the way back to yosemite just to go to Pig N Whistle.

Just FYI: These Restaurant.com GC's do not expire in CA, as per CA state law (regarding gift certificates). If you look closely at the T&C's printed on the certificate, you will even see the words printed right there after the 12 month expiration: "except in California"

So, anyone holding this certificate need not worry about expiration.

That is one reason that I like Restaurant.com... they do not expire. Even though often when redeeming them, they are treat like a "coupon" rather than a gift certificate. Which is another advantage: they deduct the amount before the sales tax is added. Saving another (almost) 10%!
