Fire + Ice Restaurant at AGW - Great Choice, especially for Lunch

Had dinner for the first time at the new Fire + Ice Restuarant at the Anaheim GardenWalk, and it was a very good choice.

    Fire+Ice

The menu is simple, all you can eat (aka grill) for one price

Lunch (Monday through Saturday 11:30 AM to 4 PM)

    Adults - $9.95
    Children 12 and Under - $6.95

Dinner (Monday through Saturday - 4 PM to closing, Sunday 3 PM to Closing)

    Adults - $16.95
    Children 2 through 7 - $6.95
    Children 8 through 12 - $9.95

Sunday Brunch (10 AM to 3 PM)

    Adults - $13.95
    Children 2 through 7 - $6.95
    Children 8 through 12 - $9.95

And Soda with free refills are $2.99

Also the restaurant has a full bar, and offers a Happy Hour from 4 to 7 PM during the week (1/2 off appitizers, a discounted cocktail based on the day of the week, and Large Bud Light for $3, and Large Samuel Adams for $4).

When you go up to the food bar, you are first offered a Salad Bar with some fixins

Then you have an interesting set of ingrediants for a Mongolian BBQ set-up, a lot of the traditional stuff, but then you can also have a Burger cooked on the grill (which will come with a Bun, Lettuce, Tomato, etc.) or lots of meat, chicken and seafood for the traditional type of grilled Mongolian BBQ.

And you can go back as much as you want to...

And the restaurant is quite nice, and has a wonderful outdoor patio.

I think the best deal is Lunch, the only difference is that there is less seafood options at Lunch than at Dinner.

Sunday Brunch is the standard meal, but then they add Pancakes, French Toast, Home Fries, Yogurt, Bacon and Sausages.

Photos of the restaurant can be found at this link...

But I do recommend it, and plan to go back on a regular basis.

Heck, $16 for all you can eat lunch, including tax and tip (Grill and Soda), try and find that type of deal on property.

Even if all you want is a freshly grilled half-pound Cheese Burger (either Beef or Turkey) with all the fixins, and a salad).

And don't forget, since Disney has been using the Anaheim GardenWalk for Guest Parking, there is free shuttle service from the Tram Loading area to the Shoppertainment Mall.

Wow! That looks really good! I was wondering what it would be like since I've never been to one of their restaurants! Thanks David for checking it out and posting the info! Definitely a place I'd like to try!

i actually ate here twice on my trip and will be hitting it up again when I go back for the half marathon.

The brunch was great and the food was all very taste. The size of your omlette depends on the amount of "stuff" you put in your bowl. Just a heads up, if you fill your bowl to the top, it is a HUGE omlette. The burgers and cheesesteaks all looked very good.

If you have any questions while you are there, talk to the staff. They are all very helpful and really seemed genuine in liking what they did.

And finally, like someone already said...GO FOR LUNCH! The price and quality can not be beat in the area.
Glory, Glory Man United! And the Reds go marching on! On!! ON!!!

I survived my first Marathon. Got my Mickey at WDW after 6:22:08 of "fun" on the course. Not happy with the time, so I will go back and be getting Goofy next year!

Fire and Ice is great, glad it finally opened there, might check them out when/if I go to DL in October. I have been to the one in Cambridge (Harvard Sq), Boston and Providence and have never been disappointed. We were actually thinking about going there for dinner this week!

I haven't been there yet and I'm already unimpressed with it.

I'll give it a go I think, but usually I prefer a chef to create a meal for me, rather than leave it up to myself. Also I've been to Mongolian BBQ style restaurants since I was a child. First time is a novelty, thereafter the novelty wears off and you realise that you're getting a bowl full of bland.

Outstanding. So as Disney takes away food variety and starts charging for tomatoes on burgers, a high-quality all you can eat grill that significantly undercuts Disney opens right next door. I think I have no more reason to eat on Disney property. I will definitely check this place out.
