Not to be rude to OP but I had a quick question myself. Was Steakhouse 55 formerly called Granville's Steakhouse? If so does the food taste the same?

They serve breakfast as well as dinner and they are always empty for breakfast. Great food and the breakfast price is pretty reasonable considering the caliber of the restaurant. The wife and I usually spend about $40 after her discount and a tip for breakfast. Dinner is pricey, but very good. I know that it used to be called Granville's but I never ate there until after it became Steakhouse 55 so I cannot compare the food.

Same great food, same great service. If you go, ask to sit in Martin's (pronounced Marteen) area. At breakfast, the eggs benedict are fantastic!

It is located in the Disneyland Hotel. My husband loves the steak and eggs for breakfast.

Have you tried googling it? There's this place called the internet (pronounced in-ter-net), where you can find information. It works wonders.
Does anyone even bother with signatures anymore?

straightforward american cuisine and it's terrific. that being said Im going off topic to denounce Disney's renaming the place "Steakhouse 55" the history of the hotel is that the restraunt was named after Bonita Granville Wrather . She was married to Jack Wrather the builder of the Disneyland Hotel (theres a book on it), as well as one of the hotel towers was called the Bonita Tower also as a homage to the Wrathers, what a shame that these tibits of history are lost with the needless name changes.
all right, now carry on with the OP's topic

The fun thing about having breakfast there is watching the "suits" have business meetings back in the corners. Or a lone executive getting very special treatment and each of the employees coming by to say "hello" and good morning. They always leave without a bill but they usually head back to the kitchen for a minute before they gather their newspapers and leave. I recognize these guys from pictures on this site and other places, but can never attach names. It seems to be a favorite breakfast spot.

Okay, this is the, like, 5th thread where I have heard something about the breakfast at 55, so you all have convinced me to make a reservation. I hope you're satisfied -- luring me in with all the delicious talk of eggs Benedict and empty tables!
