I can't recommend a place because I haven't tried them but it might be worth checking out.
There are so many places that are good around there. Especially that soup Pho or something. Drive up to Roland Heights (take the 57 North to the 60) first exit I think there's an Asian Market place right off the freeway. Roland Heights has so many good places to eat. I just don't names.

LOL did anybody here ever eat at that place? I honestly can't remember ever being there when it was open.

As a matter of fact, I did eat at that place. I believe it was the second day that DCA was open. I don't recall what the food tasted like at all. I can only, therefore, assume it was forgettable.

Sadly, it's hard to find good Chinese food in North Orange County. As was mentioned above, if you want good Chinese, you have to go to Rowland Heights. I particularly recommend Happy Family - it's my favorite restaurant on earth... okay, except Club 33.

Well if you're already in Rowland Heights, there's tons and tons of awesome Chinese up there! Not quite "near" Disneyland though.

    Ma's Islamic has my vote.

Wherever there's that market, you'll find an entire shopping plaza full of Chinese restaurants. It's 2.9 miles away from Disneyland right up the 5 Freeway.

It's called Ten Ten and it's really good for dimsum. Here's the address and phone number. My friends and I go there for a yearly dimsum trip.

    My best score ever!

Pacific Wharf's Chinesse food wasn't bad. I didn't eat the sushi there (it was California rolls), because I didn't trust that, but I remember it was good. Don't remember what was on the menu, though...

PF Changs is now open at Garden Walk. It opened on Monday. Nice choice that is within walking distance from the park.

Yen Ching restaurant in Orange gets my vote for authentic Chinese. It's not too far from DLR, and if you're going with a group, they have "family style" options with 4+ courses.

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

It's abound eight miles away, but we tried this place recently and really liked it: *Googles address*

Try the orange chicken at Cheesecake factory (at lunch it's only like $7)! I was seriously surprised at how amazing it was!! It is perfectly little crisply coated white meat pillows with the most perfectly coated sweet sauce!

P.F. Changs is way over priced!! But if you go... get the mongolian beef (with noodles, not rice) that's pretty dang good!!
    I'm addicted and I don't care!!!

Indeed. Corporate food rarely is equivalent to real authentic cuisine.

Re: Chinese food near DL - Recommendations?

I went to my favorite chinese place in OC again sunday night and had a great meal, and enough for a superb microwave leftover meal the next evening.

MA'S ISLAMIC CHINESE! On Orangethorpe just east of Harbor.
    601 E Orangethorpe Ave
    Anaheim, CA 92801
    (714) 446-9553

In my opinion, it's the best thing if you're unable to go to Monterey Park or Rowland Heights. Order the Kung Pao Chicken... it's a plate full of chicken, not like the other places where you get tiny bits of chicken and tons of other things.

And as Trekkie Dad said, there's no pork. I would actually advise against Sweet & Sour Chicken here though. it's very standard and not as good as everything else.
