![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread so, is the garden walk doing well? When i was there on a weekend it was dead and most of the stores were holding sales. It looked like a ghost town.

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread yeah, i'd probably say ghost town for the most part with some bursts of visitors at certain venues like the restaurants on katella

There is no Disney/Gardenwalk partnership. No matter what the security guard who posts on here says.

PS.. Here is the email from the tenants at AGW recevied from management. Disneyland SPONSORSHIP I’m thrilled to announce that Disneyland has signed a sponsorship agreement with Anaheim GardenWalk. Disneyland will be the exclusive theme park to receive a branding presence at the GardenWalk. In exchange, GardenWalk will receive promotion via Walt Disney Travel Co. Brochure, DisneylandTravelAgents.com, disneycopyright.com, Disney Content Connection and Disney’s EarMarked Convention. In addition, GardenWalk will be included as a regular feature to Disneyland Annual Passholders. If you would like to provide a special value to attract Passholders to your business and have not done so already, please supply to me ASAP. If you would like to extend a special value to the 20,000 full and part-time employees, please contact xxxxxxxxxx Cast Activities, Events & Recognition (xxx) xxx-xxxx. GardenWalk employees will also receive privileges at Disneyland Resort and be allowed to attend one showcase event each year and receive 1 ticket to visit Disneyland within 30 days after the showcase event. I do not have dates or additional details at this time but will provide them to you as they become available.

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread so there it is, the email sent about the partnership that is relatively new Disneyland Daddy, you're right there wasn't a partnership when the AGW was being built and opened. so for anyone who thinks this is a hoax, then good luck disproving the lunar landing.

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread wait i figured it out! some people here don't like GardenWalk because they work as security guards at the Block at Orange and want to disregard the existence of any other shopping centers. and before anyone starts pointing fingers at me, here it is in advance: yeah, i don't work at the GardenWalk, I don't work at the Disneyland Resort, i don't work at a shopping center. I don't live in anaheim, I don't live in orange county. who knows if i work or live at all! so no saying that i'm a security guard at some tourist spot (no offense to security guards)(and in advance, no one comment on the use of "tourist spot" to describe GardenWalk, which obviously has a lack of tourists!) so now that i have run out of air to say anything else, i will be heading back onto other threads. thanks!

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread Listen, you can call it denial, but shopping center developers are some of the most unscrupulous people in the world. They would lie to their clients to keep them in the center just long enough for them to sell the joint. People are starting to bail and telling the tenants that some sort of big collaboration with Disney is one way to keep them in place for a little while longer. Meanwhile they toss in some phone numbers for the resort to sound official and maybe drum up some business. Lots of places offer employees of Disney discounts. Does this mean that the Firestone tire store at Main Place mall is also in a major collaboration with Disney? We get 10% off any service there, after all. Did anyone try to go to any of the websites that are listed on there? Disneylandtravelagents.com doesn't even exist. Disneycopyrights.com is a password protected in-house website that helps the company label their properties properly. It has nothing to do with promoting a shopping center. Then the letter goes on to say that there is going to be some sort of "showcase event" and after this event everyone who works at GardenWalk will get into Disneyland for free. Puh-leez. If this is in fact a real letter from GardenWalk to its tenants, I hope they realize what a shill it is. Anyone with logical sense after checking the listed websites will realize this. And you say that I'M the one in denial? Disneyland is simply not going to promote a shopping center if they are not going to get anything out of it. They are not going to send customers somewhere else, especially when they get such a huge cut out of the sales at Downtown Disney. That's all there is to it. |

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread Not to change the tone of the thread, but I just wanted to let the record show that I had a great time at CinemaFusion on Saturday. I saw a movie on opening weekend in a 21+ screen, enjoyed a beer, and had a pleasant time sans pre-teens/teenagers that are usually overwhelming the theatres in my neighborhoods on the weekend. In my one and only experience at the GardenWalk so far I say BRAVO! |

![]() | Re: Anaheim GardenWalk Progress Thread I have to say that the theaters at the Gardenwalk are some of the best I've ever been to, and compared to the crappy ones at Downtown Disney are an extremely nice bargain. I've seen a few movies there and have always been very happy with the experience, but I haven't gone to the 21+ theaters yet. How much was a beer over there? How many people were in the theater with you? |
