I'm thinking of planning a trip to DL on Christmas day with my daughter who will then be 11 months old. I know the week before Christmas is very busy. I've been at that time, and don't care to do that again. However, I'm thinking that on Christmas day, that most people would have family plans and other obligations. Anyone have any idea how bad Christmas day would be? Any word on this would be helpful.
We went 4 years ago on Christmas day and by mid day they had a sign the harbor saying DL was full But with the way things are going people maybe can't afford to go so you might get lucky on the crowds.
It will be PACKED. As in about 1pm, they will close the turnstiles to new guests. We will be there, we have been there every year for the last 8 or 9. It is our family Christmas tradition. Every year I hear "I didn't think it would be crowded on Christmas."

It's completely full on Christmas.... with teenage Jews.
It was fun though. There must have been about a hundred teenage Jewish groups there, but it was still fun. The Jewish groups were far better behaved than most teenage groups who frequent the park.

FULL. We've been twice on Christmas eve and both times it was horrendous. I can only imagine the day of...
Tell you one thing it will be packed and very hard to walk in most parts of the park.
We stayed a week for Christmas a couple years back and it was very busy. It was a fun time though. The park was empty when we first got there three days before Christmas. Pretty much walk on rides. It got busier and busier as X-mas neared. It was still a fun time. CM's were standing in the walkways passing out little candy canes and stuff. You have to do it at least once, might as well be now.
