What to do in Southern California the 1st week of December

Hi everyone. This is my first post here but i've been browsing around for a couple months. Anyways Me and my wife are planning our Vacation in Southern California from December 1st-6th. My wife has always wanted to see Disneyland during the Christmas season and I havn't been to Disneyland in 13 years so we figured we would make this our Christmas to each other. Anyways we are planning on spending 2 days at the Disneyland resort as well as a day at Knotts Berry Farm. That leaves us with 2 extra days. We will be staying in Anahiem and the cheaper the better lol. So my question is other then what we are already planning on doing what else would you recommend that is fun in Southern California. Thanks everyone.

You could always make your way down to Long Beach and check out the Queen Mary, The Aquarium of the Pacific ... and also probably hop aboard a boat for a cruise around the harbor or even to Catalina Island.

Look for xmas boat parades. Many harbors have evening boat parades on weekends after T-giving where the boats get all gussied up and take a spin around the harbor.

Please note that Disneyland is expected to be closing early (6PM) on the first Monday and Tuesday of the month, for Disney's Family Holiday Parties. DCA should be opened later on those days.

(Those are traditional dates for this event. Official word eventually arrives.)

You could go to Laguna, go to the beach, and also stop by the Sawdust Festival. Get some Christmas shopping done- http://www.sawdustartfestival.org/wi...asy/winter.htm

Here is something unique that might be of some interest...

I checked out the Orange County Performing Arts Center's calender of events. I was thinking there might be a broadway show or something going on.

Unfortunately not too much is going on then, but there are a couple of concerts happening on December 2 if you like classical music. At the Henry and Renee Segerstrom Concert Hall at 7:30 is a Christmas Fantasia, being performed by Vanguard University's Music Department. And at 8 pm in the Samueli Theatre is the Emmerson String Quartet (program to be announced).
