No McDonald's for YOU! until Friday (Harbor Blvd location closed)

The Harbor Blvd Mc Donald's is the only one I actually eat at (but I'd still rather go to In n Out). Sigh. I yearn for the good old days of eating my Happy Meal as a kid and wacthing the monorails go by!

Hey, it's Disneyland, not High School. Your folks can't be that uncool...

Yeah, for some reason McDonalds thinks they can steal some of Starbucks' business with fancy coffees for less. And if they do it right, they can.

But they shouldn't have to shut down a location for a week just to modify the front counter and install coffee machines - they can do that overnight pretty easy. I've pulled several restaurant All-Nighters for just that reason, we work like mad all night to change it all over, they open the next day like normal.

I'll bet you there's another reason that caused the closure, like replacing the water heaters, or a serious sewer problem where they have to cut a big trench in the floor... Something where if they didn't close voluntarily to fix it, the Health Department would make them.

What is bad about that McDonald's across from Disneyland is everything is about $2 higher than at any other McDonald's around! Talk about price gouging the tourists. I never go to that McD. There is another one just a mile or so down Ball Rd with regular prices.

That McDonald's always smells bad whenever I go. It really smells like puke inside there. Hopefully that's part of the fix.

The nearby hotel lobby's have 10% off coupons for that McD's.

I believe those two locations are owned by the same person.

McDonald Corporation has been "encouraging" the franchises to do major remodeling/upgrading of the equipment.

Some locations have been completely torn down and rebuilt.

Big money in them burgers!
