Opening time on morning of 6/11 Grad Night day?

My b'day is on June 11, which is a Grad Night date, but though it's a Thursday, there's no Magic Mornings that day. And it was just posted that DL will open at 9:00, which is later than any other day that week. I remember seeing somewhere that in that sort of situation, the park might open earlier than the official opening time in order to compensate for the early closing. Anyone have a clue? And if not, I'll have to pick up my birthday ticket at 8:30 at the earliest, when the front gates open? Or in the case of an early opening, maybe the booths open early too? Oh, and one last obsessive question - would there be a ticket booth open all during grad night the night before so I could buy my partner's ticket?

hmm.. ya it is odd that Disneyland opens at 9:00 AM on a Thursday that should be the kick off week of summer vacationers. I guess maybe they are planning on it being slower because not all the schools are out yet. ? I don't know. I don't know if the ticket booths will be open earlier either.

The park hours probably will be what they are posted 9 till 9 on this particular grad nite.
Also, NO clue why there isn't magic mornings on this particular day.

Even though, I posted about the park may opening earlier on a grad nite day. I haven't seen any evidence of the park opening at 7:00 on any particular day. Even though some mice chatters reported being in Disneyland before the sunrise before. I just don't think they open that park that early anymore. They just say tough luck because of grad nite and you get ripped a few hours.

I've did a lot of looking into it because I am going on a grad nite day as well June 18th the following week.

I am pretty sure the opening time will be at 8 AM on that particular day, however, since it will be definitely starting the peak summer attendence numbers.

Park has been opened early for extremely special occasions. Some off the top of my head are:
1. 50th Anniversary.
2. POTC Movie Premieres, where the parks would be closed at 5PM or so, in mid-June.
3. For the 25th Anniversary, the park was open for 25 hours straight.

haha ya I figured there were some special situations and days.

A grad nite, however, isn't one of those days so hours will probably be the normal 8 AM to 9 PM for a grad nite. Unfortunately on June 11th it looks like 9 AM to 9 PM

Extra magic hours is a pass that allow you to enter DL one hour prior to opening. So if they open at 9 with the extra magic hour they will let you in at 8.

The parks are currently in off season mode...so Disneyland will be opening at 9 and closing at 8 on the weekdays...Grad Nights are every Thursday up until mid-June with a random Wednesday night towards June...Weekends still have the 8am-12pm hours, except for Fridays, the park will open at 9pm but close at Midnight

^^ As I said in my original post, there is, in fact, no Magic Morning on that day - it's been moved because of the Grad Night the night before.

To answer your question...there will not be a ticket booth open during Grad Night...only during normal park hours...The area is shut down so alternate security can be set up in order to set up for grad night entry to begin.

Extra Magic Hours (EMH) is the term used at WDW.

At DLR it's called a Magic Morning.
