How Crowded is DCA when it cloes at 6 PM?

Just wondering how Crowded is DCA when it cloes at 6 PM? Even though it is still technically off season hours, that seems like a really early time for a park to close. Does the 6 PM closing time keep many people away from DCA on these days?

Not crowded, that is why it closes at 6 pm. Unless it is Halloween time. Then it will be crowded.

Dl is another story, since everyone runs to DL when dca closes.

Maybe that's why I should hold onto all the fastpasses I get until after DCA closes lol.

I was there last Monday, closing was at 6 and it had a fair amount of people there.

I'm sure that some of the birthday celebrators opt for free admission into DCA.

The Pixar Play Parade is usually at 5:30 if closing is at 6 and so you'd probably see even more people in DCA around that time.

hehe I have no interest in seeing the pixar play parade, at least I don't think. I'll have to escape out of DCA before it starts.

What areas of DCA get congested because of the play parade?

the entire area near the exit.

Lol, what should I do then? Leave the park at 5:00 to avoid the congestion? or maybe I could sneak out through the grand californian exit?

Yackerz, you're slipping! I know for a fact that some of us have discussed this with you before.

You could go out through the Grand Californian exit. Or you can go out the main exit - just make sure that you're out by 5:30 as the parade starts in Sunshine Plaza.

It closes at 6PM BECAUSE it's not crowded. It's hardly ever crowded. It's crowded when there are more people able to get in for free, and that's it.

hehe ya.. I am slipping.. its a combination of information thats getting me. I know I talked about parades before and I know I talked about how Grand Californian is connected to DCA. However, I never actually planned on slipping through the Grand Californian to avoid the parade route so I didn't think about it all that much. I'll have to refer to a map to get an idea of where my escape route will be.

It's not that tough getting past the parade in DCa. It is by no means like getting past a a parade in DL.

ya.. i dont like parades or the idea of parades blocking the streets from me getting from ride to ride. sure they may be dandy for little guys, but, wow, Celebrate a street party,.. and pixar play parade kind of just have 0 appeal to me.

I'll probably run into the DL Celebrate a street party parade at 6:30 ... how long does that take to clear out of the park?
