GCH - Theme Park View or Standard with Concierge?

Hey again everyone!

I'm just debating what type of room to get now for my birthday trip in October.

I think the themepark view would be amazing but I'm tempted by the concierge ameneties since it will be my birthday and a little extra service never hurt.

Anyone got any hints, tips, pros or cons?

I've actually stayed at the Grand Californian with concierge and it was very nice. We had a view of the pool/somewhat of DCA. They served a variety of items and it was nice to pick and choose from them. They had pretty good food, in small amounts, and delicious chocolate covered strawberries I'd go with concierge if you're wanting the little extra service.

I really enjoyed the concierge! I've stayed twice with park view and it was nice, but last November, I booked the concierge room for my son's birthday. While he was running around in the park, I was enjoying the goodies! Later that evening, my son and his friend joined me and a couple of MY friends stopped by and we were all able to enjoy.

Do you drink? Free beer, wine, and snacks in the concierge lounge could make all the difference in the world. The concierge lounge is very nice at the GCH.
