Question The Palm / West Hollywood

We try to eat at The Palm anytime we travel somewhere that has one. We have reservations for 7PM on a Wed night.

I was reading the thread about characters on Hollywood Blvd and the comments I saw there are making me wonder if it's a wise choice togo anywhere near Hollywood for dinner. It will be me, DH and DS(4).

Thoughts from those who know the area well please?

(we will have our own car and do not plan to be walking around - just go to The Palm and then back to GCH)

Also, we've been told to allow 2 hrs to get there from GCH. Does that sound about right?

You'll be in WeHo (west hollywood) so you're fine. It's only a small stretch of Hollywood Blvd that has issues, and even then it's really not a big deal. But WeHo is very nice and fairly low crime. The most you might see is a very well-dressed drag queen. :-)
