Or, go to your local Costco to see one in action. (Actually, I don't know if they still use those things.)

We had a tube transport system when I worked at Levitz long time ago. Receipts for warehouse pickup would go through the tube from the cashier's desk to the warehouse office.

Remember the drive thru windows at the bank, where you'd send your deposit over and they'd shoot you back a canister of money?

My dad worked for a company that made those tube systems years ago called Zip Tube.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

These things still exist. I noticed one at my bank (UnionBank) just last week.

There should be a sticky thread called "This Day in Disney History." The company has a long history and this would be a good way to acknowledge it. Walt was born 112 years ago; that's quite a chunk of American history and culture.

The drive-thrus I've seen lately are merely ATMs.

Funny thing is that we've been using cell phones as time-keepers since they became smaller than one's palm.

Honestly, none of the routes with peoplemovers and the Green and Crenshaw lines make much sense to me.

Wait - I've seen this before. Eventually they build a giant double layered city with the "haves" above on plates and the "have nots" underneath until an ex-soldier joins the local resistance with his giant upgradeable sword thingy. That's it, right?

No the freeway, instead of being in a trench will be in a tunnel with happy children playing kickball on the grass upstairs.
