"Package Deals"

I've looked around at some "package deals" for DL -- for flight, hotel, & DL tickets -- but I haven't seen anything yet that seems much better than just doing my own thing.

I'm planning for a visit to DL (not DCA) for just 2 days, and have already decided to stay at the much-touted HOJOS with the Entertainment rate.

The packages throw in a bunch of stuff I don't need -- tickets to other places, and/or "fluff" (souvenir luggage tags or the like).

Has anyone found anything that's any better than ordering "a la carte" for such a trip?

In over 25 years of regularly enjoying DL as a family, we have NEVER found a package deal to be better than what we can do with just a few phone calls on our own.

Period.
