Just curious as to what you guys usually bring with you to the park. And what you think is best for the park. Backpacks? Tote bags? Draw String bags? Fanny packs? or something else?

A fanny pack to me is the easiest bag to handle...when traveling with our children I have to bring a backpack for all their neccessities but that really can be a hassle sometimes when getting on and off rides.

i try and not bring a whole lotta stuff... i will bring my tiny purse and or if not that then i have this HUGE umm shoulder bag thing that i only bring when i have other people with me(family, non pass holders), cuase they all end up putting there stuff in my bag to carry--in that case then i always put that bag in a locker!!
i hate having to carry around everything including the kitchen sink--it makes it tough to get on the rides, but my tiny purse like i mentioned above--well i always just bring a wallet, camera,my little roll on perfume and cell phone. but most of the time when i get to the park that goes into a locker also-lol- and from there i consolidate and my id,2 credit cards go in my lanyard holder with my pass and parking stub--that way i always have them and i know where they are if i need them.
Camelback
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
I bring my normal purse.
Cargo pants/shorts. Most of the time the only thing I carry into the park with me is my cell, camera, extra batteries, coin purse for money, and a metal credit card holder with my AP, DL and ATM card. Most of my cargo pants have enough pockets for everything.
However I recently bought a way small little bag at Target that is just big enough to hold all of that so I may use that if I don't want to wear my cargo gear.
As much as so many people think fanny packs are fashion poison, I would use one if I were build differently.![]()
Camera Bag Only!
I put a bottel water, in my back pocket......
Soaring like an EAGLE !
I sometimes carry way too much, and then I definitely look like a tourist. However, on my last trip, I started carrying my MiceChat drawstring bag that I made, and it is perfect for all my stuff. It's a cross between a drawstring bag, and a backpack.

Kind of depends on whether I'm with a group of people (like 4-ish) or just 2 (where I'm more likely to carry a bit more stuff). I've tried traveling with just a small slingbag but then I end up having to hold my water bottle, or juggle my stuff while I try to get my camera out of my bag.
So I prefer a backpack (regular sized) - but I try to keep it empty. I just like having extra space just in case![]()
I use my pockets to hold my camera and stuff. I don't pack too much.
i just bring my regular purse.
Thanks for the info everyone! Very helpful! Gonna go and try a regular purse for the gf and a fanny pack for me.
I use one similar to the picture above and it works great. I used to use a fanny pack and my husband would carry the camera but he didn't take enough pics for me so i took over the camera and video and put both in the backpack along with sweaters for the girls.
When I’m going for a short time, like only a couple of hours, I don’t bring a bag. I take my pin lanyard with a cardholder and put my cash, ID, and AP pass in there, while my phone, camera, and tiny sketchpad and pencil (I need something to do waiting in line) go in my pockets.
When I’m there for longer, I bring a small tote bag. Inside, same things as above along with a small snack, a jacket or long-sleeved shirt, and occasionally homework, lol.
