Taxi fare from LAX to Disneyland hotels

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has a rough idea how much a taxi would be from LAX to the Disneyland hotels in the evening. We are hoping to use the Disneyland Resort Express bus (2 people) but as we are arriving late we think we may just miss one with the timing (typical!) and not sure we want to wait nearly an hour after a long flight! Will be tired So thought we may get a taxi but would like to know an approximate cost if anyone knows?

Private limo service appears to be about the same.

You can try a shuttle service such as Prime Time or Super Shuttle. Should be a little lower in price, but it's a van and they don't like leaving LAX without a full van.

I would suggest Disneyland Resort Express if you can make it, or better yet on the return trip.

As Sediment suggested there are those shuttle companies. The problem is if you want to save money on them then you have to share them and it can take a few hours instead of one to get to and from the resort as they pick up and drop other passengers in the LA metropolis.

If your flight is coming on time to make the DRE but might miss it, you may want to just use a cab/shuttle as plan B. You can get on the DRE without a reservation, and pay at the Disneyland Hotel, its transfer point for hotel in the resort area.

Thank you for the replies, they are most helpful. There is a lot to learn and discover in planning a Disneyland trip!

We are hoping to use the DRE, but if we miss one, there will be an hour to wait and having been up already and travelling for 24 hours by then we wanted a back-up option!

An hour to save $80 isn't too bad.

Otherwise, hire a private car. Should be nicer than the random cab, and you know it will be there, just for you. You'd have to do this in advance, so it's not really a backup plan.

Where are you flying in from? 24 hrs of travel sounds like you'll be arriving from international. And international into the US is ... a less than pleasant experience and not very timely.
