    Smile Thanksgiving Day Questions?

Hi Fellow Disney Friends! My family and I are thinking about planning at trip to Disneyland for Thanksgiving! It will just be the three of us my mom, dad and I. We are thinking the 26th and 27th of November would be the two days we spend at the parks. I have been to Disneyland 22 times and my dad has been over 70 times so we aren't new to the parks. We just have never been for a BIG holiday! We are very excited but a little unsure what to expect. Has anyone been to the parks the day prior to Thanksgiving or on Thanksgiving? We are just looking for a relaxing fun two days at the park! This is a big change for our family normally we stay home in Idaho and have a big gathering for the Big holiday but my parents are ready to start a new tradition! Any advice or ideas would be great and Thank you So much in advance!! Have a Magical Day!!!

    Re: Thanksgiving Day Questions?

Its a tradition for my family to go on Thanksgiving and we love it. Its not as crowded as Christmas time but is still nice and festive. All the Christmas decorations are up and the park is very cheerful. Its a great time to come down and visit.

    Re: Thanksgiving Day Questions?

It is the Holiday Season so you will see the special parade, fireworks and World of Color. Lots of little snacks and treats with seasonal flare.

Just be prepared that it is very busy. Plan to get to the park early, stay late and take breaks or be leisurely during the busy afternoon. Use FastPass.

It's going to be a great place to have a tradition, just make sure everyone knows it will be busy.

Lots of people get those days off, and they go to Disneyland, too.
Friday will be the absolute worst.
