    Great game!!!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Like I said before in another thread, I was for the Steelers.

Though I will tip my hat to the Cardinals for putting up a good game in the end.

Awesome game, glad I made it home to see most of it.

I thought the Cardinals had it won, but Big Ben came through in the clutch.

    Re: Super Bowl 43

    Ahh what does one say?

I debated coming on here and discussing the game since it was sooo heartbreaking for me. It would be easy to blame the officiating (although there were some questionable calls), but that's not right nor is it fair. I could blame Mike Gandy (the man was holding more often than a porn film) but the coaches should've known better. I could blame the Cardinals for the pis poor play of the first half (Um Hello Warner, you do realize Fitzgerald is on your team right?!?!?), but they came back and played hard and did not let the calls or the 100yd steelers return drag them down.

Regardless if your a Steelers fan, Charges fan, raiders fan, Pats fan, whatever, you cannot take anything away from the Cards. It was not a blow out and the cards brought the best out of the Steelers. You can no longer say the Cards are the worse ever. They showed up and played their hearts out. And although my hats go off to all the Steelers (except for Harrison, did anyone see that beatdown he gave to Fransisco, he should've been tossed for that. That was soo unsportsmanlike and I no longer have any respect for him or anyone that supports his behavior!), the Cards did shock the world and (admitedly) for the first time I am very proud to be a Cardinals fan. You could've played better in the first half, but you played well and I am very happy that they did!

    GO CARDS!!!!!

It was a great game. The Cards got some tough, tough breaks.

The Cardinals played hard that last quarter. Man, I was sweating it. Questionable calls all around, but nothing horrible. Congrats to the Cards fans for your team playing hard.

And now for the Steeler fans.. WOO HOO!!!. 6 Baby. Ben was threading the needle all night with his passes but the guys just werent catching them.

Hats off to the Cards. They played better than I thought and the game was actually enjoyable to watch. At least I won't have to hear the fair weather fans shove it in everyone's face for the entire off season. I remember how obnoxious they were when the D-backs won in 2001. But to the true Cards fans out there, your team really played well today. Be proud.

What a great game! I don't know if I have it in me to continue to be a Steeler's fan. Talk about a nail bitter! My heart was thundering in my chest! But when you are a Big Ben fan, you never walk away still the game is offically over. The streets of Pittsburgh were alive with crazy Steeler Nation fans and all the schools in the area were on a two hour delay today so we could all sleep in. Gotta love Pittsburgh!

Now, how can the Steelers steel away Fitzgerald? That guy is awesome. Way to go Cards for picking that guy.

WAY TO GO STEELERS! WAY TO GO!

We made it to Quartzsite to watch the last 3 minutes of the game with a bunch of truckers. It was great fun catching up on what had been happening, experiencing the rush of excitement during the last Cardinal touchdown and then experience the sadness when that Ben boy just danced that ball all the way back for the final Steeler touchdown. Congrats to the Steeler fans. Congrats to the Cardinals.

Finally congrats to the gamblers who bet on the Cardinals using vegas odds of the 7 points because they too are winners.

I thought it was great game myself and I thought the Cardinals did get some tough breaks. The Steelers defense could not be stopped, they proved to be the true champions.

    Congrats to the Steelers.

    Holy craaaaaaldfkjgmdlkdf....

What an intense game! Cards played their butts off and it made it such an amazing game. I would have been bored if it was just the same old game. Congrats to both team for making it to a place that 30 other teams couldn't.

I honestly think Francisco did something to him to make him come out like that. He wouldn't just do something like that that would cost the team the biggest game EVER!

    I have a question.

Reviewing this thread just now, how did I wind up in your list of "foes"? I picked the Cardinals to win earlier in tis thread.

As far as the Cardinals go, it was like the Philly game in reverse. They fell behind, came back to take a brief lead, them watched the other guys march down the field as the clock wound down.

Pittsburgh was the better team. But Arizona had nothing to be ashamed of.

But even though the Steelers will have the best defense that they will have faced in the playoffs...Warner, James, Fitzgerald, Bouldin, Todd Haley and company will have just a little too much for them.

The Steelers will score on the Zonie defense.

It should be very close. But the Cardinals win on a late Neil Rackers field goal, 30-28.

I just couldn't pick against them one more time.

    Congratulations to the Steelers

You started out with the Cardinal's but then had a change of heart. Yes, I kept track of comments so since you switched to the Steelers before our departure Friday that made you a foe.

sgtpeper, you forgot to vote in the poll so I did not list you as friend or foe. Hopefully next year we can be in it again and then you will remember to vote and you can be friend and we will make fun of the foes.
