The 2009 NBA Finals.......Disneyland vs. Disneyworld!! (or Lakers vs. Magic)

Since this year's finals is between the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic, with each having Disneyland and Disneyworld, respectively, I thought it would be cool if we had a friendly thread to discuss this. I for one am really excited about this series, as I am a fan of both the Lakers and Disneyland . Wouldn't it be cool too if the two parks made a friendly bet? If you're like me, and love both the NBA and Disney parks, sound off!!

Maybe they can wear the jerseys at the backlot or trade goods

I put this in the Disneyland thread, so chances are Lakers would be a safer bet. Maybe if I open the same thread in the Disneyworld section they'd be more for the Magic

Why not if the Lakers win, the frequent disneyworld goers post a trip report of them at Disneyworld in Lakers jerseys, and if Orlando wins, the frequent Disneyland goers do a report in Orlando jerseys?

The problem is that most of the WDW goers are not actually from Florida. I doubt you will find many Orlando fans in the WDW forums becuase most of the people who post there do not actually live in Florida.

I'd actually be rooting for Orlando if they were playing anybody else but the Lakers.

Well, there are a LOT of transplants from other area's living in LA as well. Which is why it seems there are so many fair-weather fans and why you will see so many teams rooting for the away team at LA games. ESPECIALLY where baseball is concerned.

How is the ESPN Zone during finals? I'm debating on weather I should go when there's a game. Is it worth it?

I've only been to the one in Anaheim

It's fun, but gets really busy. You should get there maybe at least 1.5 -2 hours before the game to get a seat.
