Um, Texas plays Texas Tech. Might be interesting, if last year's teams were playing again.
Flo will mop up the Vols. Tenn is not one of those "tough SEC teams" we constantly hear about.

USC at Washington will be a loud one. I expect the first half to be close, followed by a runaway for USC. USC needs a bigger win differential than the LSU win vs U-Dub a few weeks ago.

Da-U (that's Miami) plays Ga Tech for ACC-Coastal supremacy -- well, at least for the moment. VaTech and UNC are also ranked. That's tonight, though, not Saturday.

Texas A&M and Texas don't play until Thanksgiving day. This weekend we (the Aggies) are playing mighty Utah State.

Re: College Football

I've been a big USC fan since I was a kid (My dad went to USC) so I would love to see them do well this year, and I had high hopes. But this is the third week in a row that they have looked over-rated. I can't believe that they are almost done with the third quarter and it's still 10 - 10. They may be ranked #3, but they sure don't look like they deserve it right now. Corp just threw an interception in the red zone. Brilliant. :

Re: College Football

Carroll needs to get this kid out of there. I've been watching for 1 possession and he's almost thrown 2 INT's.

Re: College Football

No one thought about giving Mustain a chance? Yikes. Usually when an upset like this happens, the consolation line is, "If you're going to lose, lose early." Unfortunately for USC and everyone in the PAC-10, one loss means goodbye to any chance at a NC game.

For the second straight year, a stumble after the Ohio State game.

Among other things, they have a trip to Berkeley coming up in two weeks...

GO BRUINS!!!

That was my thought too SunBurst.

Of course, considering I have no loyalty to any college program, seeing the underdog and the protege' beating the teacher is always something awesome to see.

That said, I thought the play-calling was ABYSMAL on USC's part. That run on 3rd down when you had a 1st and 10 on the 11 yard line in the 4th quarter was a TERRIBLE call. Carroll is NOT the kind of coach to go for the tie, which it looked like he was doing and was PERFECTLY okay going for the field goal. Shame.

Indeed ... the only College teams I will never root for are Notre Dame and BYU. Other than that, I don't care.

What a difference a year makes. I thought USC would lose a couple this year, but not today. Pete Carroll beaten by his old student, Steve Sarkisian. Wow.

And my Bruins, by the way, are 3-0.
